Interior & Exterior Painting

Scraping, repairs and careful prep before a single coat goes on.

How we approach it

A paint job is only as good as the prep underneath it. We scrape, sand, repair rotted wood and prime bare spots before the first finish coat — the difference between paint that peels in two winters and paint that lasts.

What's included

  • Exterior scraping, sanding and priming
  • Rotted wood and trim repair
  • Siding, trim, doors and shutters
  • Interior walls, ceilings and trim
  • Drywall patching before paint
  • Clean, protected job sites

Photos

  • Colonial home after repaint, with clean white siding and dark shutters
  • Two crew members scraping old paint from siding on a ladder
  • Freshly painted white farmhouse behind a garden

Interior & Exterior Painting FAQ

Other services

When is the best time to paint a house exterior in Connecticut?

Late spring through early fall, when temperatures stay above the paint manufacturer's minimum overnight. We schedule around the forecast so coatings cure properly.

Do you repair wood before painting?

Yes. Soft or rotted trim is cut out and replaced, and gaps are caulked, before any primer or paint goes on.
